Alfa Romeo | Alfetta Superleggera

This project is a re-envision the historical and legendary presence of the brand that it held in the 20th century at the peak of the Gran Touring and Grand Prix racing such as The Mille Miglia. Following in the historical lineage of the Alfa Romeo Alfetta Tipo 158/159.

 

The design goal is to embodied the elegance and purity of Italian design. Simple, long elegant curves, refined details, and performance. Taking design elements from the Alfetta Tipo 159 and the C52 Disco Volante

The packaging is based on a rear-wheel drive, front-mid engine placement, two seater Grand Touring layout. With a theoretical 6.5L  V12 or Super-Charged V8. Essentially a contemporary take on a Hyper-Gran Tourer. With its competition as well as packaging layout references based on the Ferrari 812 Competizione, Aston Martin Vulcan, and the historic Panoz Esperante GTR-1.
